The famous Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve forms part of the cape peninsular park, recognized globally for its extraordinary land formations, unique flora, and alluring beauty. The peninsula forms the western boundary of False Bay. With many different hiking trails and scenic walks to choose from, the Cape of Good Hope is an excellent walking location. Take a 90 mile drive due east and you will find Cape Agulhas, the true southernmost tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Agulhas boasts one of the oldest working lighthouses in South Africa, 27 metres high.
