If you get the opportunity to head out after sunset you should take it. The bush transforms under the cover of darkness as the nocturnal wildlife gets going. Using a spotlight your guide will scan the bush for eye-shine picking out some great action.
You never know what you might find when out on a night drive, your guide and scout will be on full alert, trying to pick out the elusive nocturnal wildlife. The bush really comes to life under cover of darkness, in the cool and dark. That lion pride you saw sleeping under a tree earlier might be feeling hungry, leopard will be slipping through the shadows with the opportunistic hyena ever close behind. This is a great opportunity to see smaller predators at work and if you are really lucky you might even spot a Pel's fishing owl!
