For a unique day out in Cape Town, take a horseback ride along the five-mile long, picturesque Noordhoek Beach. Noordhoek is the longest beach in Cape Town and has spectacular views of Table Mountain and the Chapman's Peak.
Horse riding along Noordhoek Beach is suitable for all levels of riders, from beginners to experts. Your experienced guides will ensure you have the right horse to suit your riding ability and that you are comfortable and happy. Take a quiet stroll along the shoreline and lookout for dolphins and whales further out to sea. For the more experienced riders, go for a canter through the surf or even have a gallop on the race horse training track parallel to the beach.
Riding helmets are compulsory and these can be supplied by the riding company. There are daily rides from the stables and each ride tends to last around one and a half hours. Private rides can also be organised for couples, families or special events.
