With literature, painting and hand crafts flourishing in Guanajuato throughout the centuries there is plenty to be discovered on this experience which focuses on the creative side of this charming colonial town.
Visit the textiles museum at Casa de los Espirituos, housed within a beautiful 18th Century colonial mansion which also happens to boast spectacular views across Guanajuato. Next you will head to the workshop of Gorky Gonzalez, famed for his traditional pottery work and for his preservation of the Majolica technique after completing his studies in Japan.
Following lunch, visit the home of the late Chavez Morado and Olga Costa-Jose where you can view a fine collection of paintings and hand crafts before visiting the museum and house of Diego Rivera, the iconic Mexican muralist, famed for his tempestuous relationship with Frida Kahlo.
