Little Vumbura lies in an area of the Okavango Delta that is a mix of water and dry land, as a result the camp can offer a range of activities both on land and water to explore the concession.
Year-round Little Vumbura can offer guests interesting and exciting day and night game drives. Drives at different times of the day can offer plenty of opportunity to explore the area and to see a range of different animals. Most animals are most active during times of day when temperatures are lower, however there are some rarer seen animals that are most active at night and a night drive is an excellent time to try and spot these.
Although Little Vumbura is located in an area of both water and dry land, it's water-based activities do tend to be seasonal and dependent on whether a guide is available. These activities include boat trips, mokoro excursions and fishing. Due to the nature of the Delta, bush walks are also seasonal and tend to be when the ground is drier and less dense with greenery.
Little Vumbura also has additional activities at an extra cost including hot air balloon and helicopter trips for a birds-eye view of the incredible Okavango Delta landscape below.
