Best time to Visit

Good time to visit

Average time to visit

Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.

Description

Shinta Mani Shack (formerly Resort) is a charming property in Siem Reap which has retained its authenticity. Just 15 minutes away from the Angkor Wat Temples and within walking distance of local restaurants it's a great base in this culturally rich city.

Designed by Bill Bensley, Shinta Mani Shack (formerly Shinta Mani Resort) has a fantastic sense of place combined with stunning modern and fresh feel. Located in the leafy French Quarter near to both the Old Market and Royal Gardens this boutique property is the perfect retreat in Siem Reap. The resort has recently been re-designed and is proving to be a popular choice with our guests for a place to stay whilst exploring the temples of Siem Reap.

All of the 62 rooms are located in a courtyard style around the beautiful swimming at the heart of the hotel and either benefit from a private balcony or terrace. Each room has a its own unique design with bold statement custom designed furniture and hand crafted light fittings alongside artwork exclusively created for the hotel by Bensley Designs. There are interconnecting room options for families.

Service at the hotel is exceptional and the staff are always on hand with a bottle of water, ice cream, refreshing cold towels, mosquito spray and anything else you may need to make your stay comfortable. Dining here at least once is recommended as the food is sublime.

The hotel is well located to explore Siem Reap's historical sites - Angkor Wat is just a 15-minute walk away whilst downtown Siem Reap is about a 10-minute walk away so easy to walk to the markets and local restaurants.

Shinta Mani Resort is a great 4 star option - it is the sister property of Shinta Mani Club, the 5 star hotel opposite - staff work between the two hotels so even though it is a 4 star hotel, you will still receive 5 star service! Spacious bedrooms centred around the pool which is a lovely big area perfect for relaxing in the afternoons after temple tours.
