Set on a pristine beach surrounded by tropical flora and fauna
Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.
There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 31°C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.

Situated on the stunning island of Silhouette, surrounded by lush, emerald green tropical forest, Labriz is the latest addition to the luxury hotels of the Seychelles. Set along two kilometres of white sandy beach, the hotel has fabulous guest facilities.
Silhouette Island is the third-largest island in the Seychelles and a marine national park, regarded by conservationists as one of the most important sanctuaries of biodiversity in the Indian Ocean. Jurassic mountain cliffs enshrouded in mist, smooth granite boulders festooned with fresh young leaves and stretches of powdery white sand and crystal clear water form just part of this stunning island's beauty.
Labriz is a Seychelles Creole word derived from the French phrase ‘la brise’ or ‘the breeze’. It is an all villa hotel located on the island of Silhouette along a two-kilometre stretch of wild beach. The 93 villas and 17 pavilions are tucked amongst the tropical vegetation and are all of contemporary design, featuring their own outdoor showers. For the ultimate in luxury, the pavilions have their own 6.5 x 3 metre pool and a separate pavilion for spa treatments or a romantic dinner. Labriz also offers guests the opportunity to be at one with nature. A marine national park, Silhouette Island shelters a huge diversity of flora and fauna, from fruit bats to pitcher plants, incense trees to coco de mer. Labriz has taken a pro-active role in the preservation of Silhouette Island's biodiversity, under the guidance of the Nature Protection Trust of Seychelles (NPTS).
Visit the island's giant tortoise sanctuary and meet its most majestic inhabitants, some of which are over 120 years old. Embark on a series of nature walks and let a world of natural wonders surprise you. Adventurous trekking tours take you through the tropical jungle and along the island’s spice trail, and afterwards you can relax at the Aquum Spa.

Each villa at the Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa features a flat screen TV and DVD player and complimentary Wifi.
The 30 King Garden Villas are just a short walk from the beach, affording magnificent views over Mt Dauban and offering 88m² of living space and a private terrace with sun loungers. Inside, the villas feature spacious bedrooms with a plush sofa and a writing desk. Bathrooms feature a separate bathtub and shower and lead onto a private garden with its own outdoor shower.
The King Beachfront Villas are located just steps from the white sand beach with thick, lush tropical vegetation creating a sense of privacy. Offering a spacious 101m² of living space, these villas feature a large bedroom with plush sofa and writing desk, and the bathrooms have bathtubs and separate showers as well as a private garden with its own outdoor shower and beach views.
The Sanctuary Pool Villas are nestled amongst the palm trees of the tropical forest and offer a generous 185m² of space. These villas are a true private hideaway with a garden encompassing a cascading pool, outdoor rain shower and gazebo for private dining. The bathrooms feature a two-person bathtub and double shower, and the large bedrooms feature a plush sofa offering space for an extra adult or 2 children. Guests booking the Sanctuary Pool Villas also have the exclusive benefit of a 30% discount on spa treatments.
The Deluxe Beachfront Pool Villas are designed to blend seamlessly into the beach and ocean, and offer a generous 185m² of living space. The private garden features a large swimming pool with cascading waterfall, an outdoor rain shower, hammock and private thatched pavilion, perfect for an outdoor massage treatment. With 1200m² of living space, this villa comprises 2 huge bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom and private terrace overlooking the sea. The living room houses a fully stocked bar and lounge and the villa also offers a large outdoor dining venue. Dedicated butler service ensures guests are always well taken care of.
Newly opened Jungle Fun kids' club complete with games and educational books to keep the little ones entertained on the island. Open from 9.00am to 5.30pm for children from 4 to 12 years old.
Children under 4 years have to be accompanied by parents or baby sitter
The dining options are endless with five restaurants and in-villa dining available. There is a lovely swimming pool to relax around, a PADI scuba dive centre, a tennis court, a fully equipped fitness centre, helipad, Aquum Spa, library and DVD lounge. The resort also has two boutiques and a medical centre with decompression chamber.
From Labriz the activities can be water based or on land trekking and exploring the wilderness. The Activity Centre at Labriz offers water sports, including scuba diving, snorkelling, and big-game fishing. On dry land, the fitness centre and floodlit tennis courts satisfy the thirst for a physical challenge. Alternatively, for a truly meaningful encounter with the Seychelles, a visit to the Grand Tortoise Sanctuary or a trek through the island's verdant jungle promises to deliver an unforgettable Silhouette experience.
Labriz is located on the island of Silhouette, the third largest island in the Seychelles and not far from Mah. Silhouette is a particularly green and lush island, covered in tropical forest, making this a fantastic island for trekking and seeing the flora and fauna. You can visit the giant tortoises that can be found at the Nature Protection Trust of the Seychelles, not far from the hotel. Due to the mountainous nature of Silhouette the sun goes behind the mountain at about 4-5pm each day, so make the most of the daytime sun. I would definitely recommend staying in a Beach Villa as they offer better views, direct beach access and more privacy compared with the Garden Villas. The gorgeous spa is built into the mountains and around the rocky boulders and it is worth spending some time relaxing here, as the atmosphere is so tranquil. For the more active, there is an excellent PADI dive centre on-site (Eco Dive) with a large training pool and the only recompression chamber of the Seychelles!
Silhouette Island has a lot of history linked to it. You can visit the Dauban family home, which has now been transformed into a restaurant (the Dauban family owned the island until 1960). Silhouette is reputedly a site of medieval graves of passing Arab sailors and there is a legend that the corsair Jean-Francois Hodoul buried his treasure on Silhouette.
Set on a pristine beach surrounded by tropical flora and fauna, the luxurious Labriz Resort & Spa is located on the stunning Silhouette Island in the Seychelles archipelago. Designated a national park, this is the third largest island in the Seychelles archipelago with Mount Daubon reaching a height of 780 metres.
