Telc Day Trip
Prague, Czech Republic
Despite its understated beauty, Telc has remained undiscovered by most tourists. A visit to this charming town with its Gothic castle and Renaissance buildings is a hidden gem.
Located in Southern Moravia, the 13th century town was a royal water fort where merchants from Bohemia, Moravia and Austria cross path. It was originally built to center around the towering Gothic Castle, with magnificent Renaissance and Baroque houses forming long plaza in its Main Square. In 1992, Telc was inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
