The majority of the rains fall in May and June, bringing with them intense humidity but turning the stunning landscape the most luscious shades of green. The winter months are damp and windy, with average temperatures hovering around 8°C. Spring and Autumn are the prime times to visit Guanxi, with pleasant temperatures, sunny skies and minimal rainfall.

  1. Fly into Guilin

  2. Days 1-2: Guilin

    Arrive into Guilin and embark on a quick visit to Fubo Hill. Climb to the peak and be rewarded by the captivating views of the stunning meandering Li River and Guilin town.

  3. Days 2-3: Longsheng

    The last stop of your short getaway is to the mountainous region of Guangxi – Longseng. Immerse in the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the area.

  4. Days 3-5: Yangshuo

    The next day, board an unconventional motorised bamboo raft boat for an hour’s cruise down the picturesque and calm Li River. Glide past the limestone peaks, luxuriant green paddies and charming villages along the river. In the evening, catch the exquisite Impressions of Liu Sanjie, choreographed by the renowned director Zhang Yimo where hundreds of performers sing and dance against the enchanting scenery of Yangshuo - an amazing way to end your first night in Yangshuo. Your tour of Yangshuo also includes an active biking tour to visit the authentic villages. Cycle and hike past buffaloes and farmers hard at work in the fields and admire the peaceful rural countryside life of China
