A renowned Taoist mountain, Mount Sanqing is an excellent alternative to the crowded Yellow Mountain or Huangshan. Mount Sanqing famously combines the picturesque beauty of the Yellow Mountain, the grandiosity of Mount Emei, the intricacy of Mount Lu and the steepness of Mount Hua into one package.
At the heart of Mount Sanqing is the Nanqingyuan Scenic Area with its series of granite peaks which dates back to 1.4 billion years ago. This is also where you can spot the three landmark peaks of Yujing, Yuxu and Yuhua.
West Coast scenic area features a walking path attached to the alpine cliffs, which is currently the world's longest cliff-side paths. Spectacular sceneries await at every turn here!
Finally, the Shunshine Coast Scenic Area features another impressive plank road measuring at a total of 4,000-metre long with average elevation of 1,600 metre.
