Danzhai
With a population of 172,000 people, the Danzhai county represents one of the most ethnically diverse belt of Guizhou. The region is known for its distinctive rice terraces and especially the Miao ethnic traditions.
As part of the poverty elimination effort, the region has also received investment and now serves as a tourism village which at the same time promotes the cultural treasures of Guizhou.
