Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.

Days 1-5: Siem Reap & Angkor Wat
Arrive in Siem Reap, the gateway to the amazing Angkor Temple Complex. Stay in the lively town for three blissful nights, and we have included three temple tours. The first is to visit Angkor Thom and the mysterious faces at Bayon with an experienced guide. End the day off with refreshing sunset cocktails as you leisurely drift down the moat of Angkor Thom, accompanied by the sound of bird song.
No trip to Angkor is complete without a stop at the world-famous Angkor Wat, so set out early the next day with your guide who will recommend the best spot to watch the sun rise over this ancient monument. Then visit the more remote areas of the complex where the temples ruins are much quieter, and your experienced guide will be able to steer you away from the crowds. Marvel at these amazing crumbling structures, slowly being engulfed by the forest.
On your last full day in Siem Reap, tour the great Tonle Sap freshwater lake on a wooden boat to experience the wildlife and absorb the unique floating villages on the margins of the lake. There is much to do in Siem Reap other than visit the temples, including cycling, zip lining, kayaking, fabulous restaurants and trendy boutiques. A short but sweet stay in Cambodia will leave you wanting to return.
