Taste Siem Reap - For A Good Cause

After being collected by your private tuk tuk driver, you will be transported to the Footprints Café, a delightful literary-inspired café by the river that donates 100% of their profits back to the local community to fund education grants. Sample a generous sharing platter, chosen in advance by their talented chefs, as well as a Sombai cocktail, made with the local artisan liqueur.
Your next stop of the evening will be at Haven, a social enterprise restaurant set in pretty gardens, that help young adults from underprivileged backgrounds to get on the career ladder. Over the course of a year the trainees will learn to speak English, develop IT skills, and have on-the-job practice in the restaurant. Profits are used to pay for their accommodation, a monthly salary and their school materials, so sit back, relax and enjoy your delicious main course, prepared and presented by this year’s Haven trainees.
Finally, your evening draws to a close at Marum, located in a traditional wooden house and gardens where you can enjoy a quiet cocktail and dessert. Marum has been working with street children and other marginalised young people in Siem Reap since 2005 and provides them with the skills they need to become employable in the hospitality industry. Marum is part of TREE, a global alliance of training restaurants.
