Nxabega Concession

Set in 8000 hectares of riverine forest, lily-filled lagoons, and channels fed by the meandering Bora River, the private Nxabega Concession lies to the west of Chief’s Island in the famed Okavango Delta. Islands of mopane woodland and fig trees make it a rich habitat for fruit bats and birdlife, including Pel’s fishing owl, pink-backed pelican, kingfisher, wattled cranes, and saddle-billed storks.

Nxabega Concession

While the watery landscape is a paradise for birds, large game are also drawn to the watering holes, with elephant, antelope, lion, leopard, and kudu to be found on the larger islands.
