Good time to visit

Average time to visit

The weather in China has four distinct seasons - a pleasant warm spring, a hot rainy summer, a comfortable cool autumn and a cold winter. The hottest time in China comes in July and August, with more than 10 days at temperatures above 35 C. The coldest time is from the late January to early February. The spring from March to May is recommended as the best time to travel to China. Summer which also sees heavy rainstorms late in the season is surprisingly the peak season.

Itinerary

This journey through China is perfect for a honeymoon with buzzing cities, incredible culture and beautiful scenery. The itinerary includes two of the most cosmopolitan cities in China, Shanghai and Hong Kong, the incredible history of Beijing and the stunning scenery of Yunnan and Yangshuo to complete the romantic adventure.

  1. Days 1-4: Shanghai

You will start your honeymoon in one of China's most cosmopolitan cities, Shanghai. This buzzing metropolis is bursting at the seams with fantastic restaurants and beautiful boutique shops and cafes. We have included three days for you here and alongside your Shanghai exploring, with your private guide, we have included a day trip out to the beautiful town of Tongli. As a couple, also take the chance to visit the Temple of Heaven where you can watch young couples posing for their own wedding photos as you relive your own special day.
