Reviews

Like all the Pearl Beach Resorts, the Moorea Pearl Beach Resort offers a true Polynesian experience on this lush island. This hotel is smaller than the other resorts we feature on Moorea resulting in a more intimate atmosphere. It is a 4 star standard as it lacks some facilities such as a gym and tennis courts, but the accommodation is comfortable and as well as a small spa, a dive centre and water sports on-site, they also have a tattoo centre, so you can really experience the local culture! I really liked the feel and atmosphere at this hotel - it had a relaxed and happy buzz. The Beach bungalows are right on the beach and reminded me of huts on the beach in Thailand and the Over-water bungalows are located over the reef which dramatically drops below - much more than any other over-water bungalows I saw in French Polynesia. This is fantastic for viewing the fish life passing below, but not suitable for less able swimmers or those scared of fish!
This is a traditional Polynesian style hotel, a great place to stay during your visit to Moorea.
