Our Top 10 Must-dos at Costa Navarino
27 February 2020
1. Explorers Club
This is a must book for our younger travellers. With options for morning, afternoons or full days what better way to make new friends, whilst making the most of all of the activities that are on offer with our very own Scott Dunn nannies and rangers.
2. CREW Club
This club is for ages 11+. With a minimum of 18 hours of activities across 6 days (Sunday to Friday) perfect for those who are too old for a kids club but like to keep busy when on holiday and experience new activities from a surf lesson to rock climbing or wakeboarding.
3. Authentic Village Cooking Experience
Head to nearby Pylos for an authentic Messinian Cooking Experience like no other! As soon as you arrive at this little traditional house on the side of the cliff you feel as though you have gone back in time to authentic Greek culture. The house boasts the most amazing sea views over Navarino Bay. Here you will learn how to make fresh pasta and other delights! We made an amazing courgette pie which was so simple but delicious! A real way to see how the Greek cook a traditional Mediterranean diet.
4. Bike to Voidokilia Beach
Have an early breakfast and then head down to Costa Navarino Outdoors to get set up for your bike ride, before it gets too hot. With bikes for the whole family there is something for everyone (even electric bikes!). Once you head off you will make it to Voidokilia Beach in around 20/25 minutes and trust me when I say the view you will see when you get there is worth the cycle. By getting ahead of the day you will make it to the beach before it gets too busy where you can enjoy the crystal clear waters with a well-deserved dip. There are even some great hiking trails from the beach if you are feeling super active before you cool off. But make sure your keep some energy for your ride back!
5. Aqua Park
A must do every day!
6. Round of golf
There are two world-class golf courses at Costa Navarino so pack your clubs (or rent them there) and book some tee times and enjoy the Bay and Dunes courses. The high quality conditions and the fantastic views really make both these courses a round to remember.
7. Late Lunch at Barbouni
Head down to the beach for a late lunch at Barbouni. They don’t take reservations so avoid the 1pm lunch rush! Make sure to have the catch of the day paired with Costa Navarino’s own wine 1827. Fresh fish, salad and ice cold Rose while your feet are in the sand … what more could you want?
8. Anazoe Spa Time
With everything available from massages to facials you can see why the 4,000sqm spa is award winning. Or for those who want to experience the best of everything that Anazoe Spa has to offer, then why not book a spa package of three, five or even seven days!
9. Family Evening at Costa Navarino
Start with a sunset cocktail at The Anax Lounge before making your way down to the Agora Square for a family meal of pizza and pasta at Da Luigi. Make sure you get a table outside to make the most of when the darkness sets in and the outside movie screen comes into play either showing an old classic film or concert (don’t worry sporting fans if there is a big game then they will sometimes show this!).
10. Day at Sea
Why not take advantage of the beautiful water and coastline that surrounds you at Costa Navarino. With options of a sailing boat or if you prefer something a bit faster how about a motor yacht. All available for either a half or full day and come with a skipper and staff to make sure you have the most memorable day.
