Rude Health’s Top 3 Breakfasts

We love our friends at Rude Health, not only do they keep our chalet and villa guests happy, healthy and feeling full, but every now and then, they send delicious recipes and new products to the Scott Dunn office, inspiring our breakfasts and stopping us from reaching for sugary snacks.

So we thought we’d share the love with you, here are Rude Health’s top 3 breakfasts – they’re easy to make and taste incredible…


Whizz up quickly for when you’re in a rush…


2 ripe bananas

3 tablespoons natural peanut butter

4 tablespoons Rude Health Drinking Oats

300ml Rude Health Almond Drink

Handful of ice cubes


Blend everything together until smooth. Serve immediately.


All your good fats and fibre in one go. This one is coconuts. 


Serves 4 (200ml jars)

400g organic strawberries, washed and hulled

200ml coconut yogurt

2 tablespoons unrefined icing sugar

125g Rude Health Coconut Chia Granola


Cut strawberries into quarters.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the double cream and unrefined icing sugar until stiff peaks form.

Place a few pieces of strawberries on the bottom of a jar. Add a very generous spoonful of whipped cream on top of the strawberries. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Rude Health Coconut Chia Granola on the whipped cream. Repeat this process to add on a second layer of strawberries, whipped cream and granola.

Repeat the above step for all the jars. Serve immediately.

Makes 6-8 bars

100g unsalted butter

3 tablespoons honey

60g dark muscovado sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

pinch of salt

300g Rude Health Muesli Coconut & Seed Gluten Free

100g sunflower seeds


Preheat oven to 175°C. Line a large loaf pan (28cm x 18cm) with baking parchment.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add in the honey, dark muscovado sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.

Mix in the Rude Health Muesli The Classic and sunflower seeds.

Pour the muesli mixture into the prepared loaf pan. Using a small piece of baking parchment to cover your fingers, firmly push down on the muesli mixture until it is firmly packed.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow the muesli bars to cool completely before cutting into bars.
