Komodo, Indonesia
Amandira
  • Based on the traditional Phinisi vessels the Amandira is 52 meters and is built using the finest tropical hardwood and follows the elegant design of having eight sails.

  • Komodo and Raja Ampat are two of the most recgonisable destinations in the world for diving and Amandira is complete with state of the art diving equipment for you to explore some of the world's most diverse waters

  • Due to the remoteness of these locations hours are to be spent on the deck lounge just gazing up at the stars, with of course a cocktail in hand.

  • Do not lift a finger as your personal crew of 15 will be there to make sure everything is perfect. From your chef, to your diving instructor, to you own onboard massuer.

Amandira is a traditional Phinsi sailing ship offering old fashioned charm though renovated to move by motor and has all the facilities of a modern hotel. It houses up to 10 guests with five spacious and modern wood-decked cabins. Each cabin is en-suite; two are king size cabins, one queen and the last two offer bunk beds, perfect for friends or siblings.

Aboard you will visit new places everyday and wake up to a new paradise outside your window, visit the volcanic isles of Komodo National Park and The Raja Ampat Archipelago - a truly beautiful wonderland both above and below water.

These two different trips offered by Amandira allow guests to explore the more remote archipelagos of Indonesia. From April to September they offer the Komodo National Park Expedition, which explores the Nusa Tenggara islands and dive sites around Komodo, including sightings of the Komodo dragon itself.

From October to March, you have the opportunity to visit the Raja Ampat archipelago. Lasting five or seven nights, these tailor-made journeys celebrate some of the world's most diverse waters, spreading over 50,000 square kilometres and thriving with thousands of species of fish and hundreds of species of coral.

Make the most of being on the water with the state of the art diving equipment available, great for more experienced divers, or take your PADI exam onboard ready to explore the waters. A crew of 14 ensure a seamless experience, and first class Aman service. They will go above and beyond to ensure this is one of the most unique and memorable experiences of your life.
