The JW Marriott El Convento Cusco was built over the 16th Century colonial Convent of San Agustin which was declared a national cultural heritage site by the Peruvian Government. The Convent has been carefully restored and the archaeological remains from the Pre-Inca, Inca, Colonial, Republican and Contemporary periods can be observed giving the hotel a unique character and atmosphere.
