Onto the Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, you will reach the tomb of Chairman Mao who rests in a crystal coffin surrounded by an array of fresh flowers.

After some time exploring the various sites within Tiananmen Square, you will continue your half day tour to the Forbidden City. Also known as the Palace Museum, behold the splendid painted decoration and marvel at the magnificent treasures. First built during the Ming Dynasty, it covers 74 hectares and it a wonder of this fascinating city.
