Safaricom marathon: Run for a Reason

Africa’s most iconic species, including elephant and rhino, are under threat from poaching and could disappear from the wild in our lifetime. Scott Dunn is proud to partner with conservation charity Tusk as the official U.S. tour operator for the annual Safaricom Marathon on June 24, 2017. This is your chance to join the thousands of runners from around the globe who take part in the Safaricom Marathon. When you do, you'll run wild alongside rhino and giraffe through Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya and help raise vital funds for Tusk, which supports over 50 conservation, community and education programs that provide a lifeline for Africa’s wild animals.

Raise funds for conservation

Across Africa 100 elephants are killed every day. Illegal poaching claims the life of one rhino every 10 hours. At this rate, these iconic species will be gone from the wild within your lifetime.

Since it began, the Safaricom Marathon has raised over $4.2 million for conservation
