Tanzania is a large country, with a varied climate. Generally, the long rains run from March to May - the temperature is warm and the humidity is high. June to October is the long dry season, and the short rains are in November and December, much lighter than the long rains. January and February are again dry (the short dry season) so this is another good time to visit.

Arusha Coffee Lodge lies cradled in the endless verdant acres of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantation, amongst the rolling foothills of Mount Meru. This exclusive, boutique hotel spreads through the grounds around the farm's original plantation house.
The Arusha Coffee Lodge accommodation consists of 18 plantation suites and 12 Plantation rooms spreading into the evergreen coffee fields. The Lodge has been designed around the original estate home as a focal point, itself dating back to the early 1900s.
The main Plantation House, at the centre of the property retains a warm and homely atmosphere with log fires in each room to ward off any evening mountain chill. Within the main building are an a la carte restaurant, an intimate bar and a cosy lounge.
