Having caught the travel bug during my university days, I have since visited over 50 countries across 6 continents. I enjoy combining my trips with attending major sporting events; from FIFA World Cups at Brazil and Russia to Major League Baseball in USA, I absolutely love the atmosphere at these events.

Omiyage or 'travel souvenir' is big in Japan and each region specialises in some forms of food items which make ideal souvenirs. From Tokyo Banana to Niigata sake, they make excellent gifts for friends and family back home.
Although there are other (faster) methods to cross the Bosporus in Istanbul, sipping çay on a rocking ferry while marvelling at the seagulls with wonderful Istanbul skyline as backdrop is still the best way to travel between Europe and Asia.
