Emilie Mounier

Singapore Office

After a 6 month backpacking trip over South America and South East Asia in my twenties, and later relocating to Asia for work purposes, I understood that I could feel at home just about anywhere on the planet!

Born in France, I caught the travel bug early on when my parents relocated to the Middle-East and then to Africa during my teenage years. That’s where it all started - among century old ruins, spice souks and wildlife safaris in tropical forests.

When traveling, I love spending time in local markets, full of colours, smiles and photographic opportunities.

What my guests have said

Emilie has been quick and responsive to our feedback during our trip and provided excellent service.

I'm very appreciative of your passion, dedication and commitment to following through with our trip.

We have been so well looked after and the staff everywhere have been incredible. You have organised the most wonderful trip for us, one we will never forget.

Travel nuggets

  • My favourite thing in the Middle East is scouting for a high place to listen to the call for prayer at the end of the day. The moment where all the muezzin calls rise from different parts of the city and start chanting is just magical.

  • I love reading books about the destination I’m travelling to: from historic novels, to real life testimonies or even travel tales. It helps me understand some of the historical, political or cultural aspects of the country I’m about to discover.

  • China is a wonderful place to travel with kids: you will always find something / somebody to entertain them. Be it the toboggan slide to come down from the Great Wall at Mutianyu, the parks full of singers & dancers or the markets with the latest gadgets.

My hot picks

Amankora Paro, Paro, Bhutan

Set in a beautiful pine tree forest, overlooking Drukyel Dzong, the setting is perfect to relax and soak into the country slow pace and feel its spiritual energy.

Benesse House, Naoshima Island, Japan

A truly unique experience, both a hotel and a modern art museum on Naoshima Island, by the sea. Staying there, you will be able to visit the museum at night when it’s open for hotel guests only.

La Mamounia, Marrakech, Morocco

North African refined style, architecture and hospitality at its best! In the heart of the imperial city, enjoy the lavish jasmine scented gardens, get pampered in their spa and get a true sense of what it felt like living in an oriental palace!

It looks like you are in the USA
