My passion for travel started early with a wall-sized map in my childhood home. Being the daughter of a pilot, travel has always been a huge part of my life. I am lucky to be ingrained with the belief that travel is the best teacher you’ll ever have.
I have been to 5/7 continents, lived on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, scuba dived in caves deep in the Yucatan and with sharks in Bora Bora, did mission work in Peru, spent a month surfing in Costa Rica, backpacked my way across Europe, and studied abroad in Cairns, Australia. With my most recent trip to Europe, I fell in love with the Mediterranean. Greece and Italy are my top places to experience for their diverse landscapes, ancient history, incredible cuisine, and warm personalities.
My travel has only just begun. Every place I see gives me inspiration for the next. I am the person who always has another trip planned and an endless bucket-list.
Favourite places I've been
A fun way to try local dishes is to have your waiter or waitress pick three of their favorites on the menu.
Wake up early or stay up late and see somewhere special in a different light.
Be sure to see if there is a market going on during your stay. It’s an experience on its own.
Take pictures of wine labels you like so you can enjoy it at home. It’s a great way to relive your travels.
In Tuscany and Crete, renting a car is a must! There are so many charming villages to discover and amazing landscapes to take in. It’s best to go at your own pace and enjoy it.
Go with the flow. Get a little lost. “Letting the happy accident happen is what a lot of vacation itineraries miss.” -Anthony Bourdain
