Meet our ski specialists. They all share a passion for skiing and would love to share their enthusiasm and experience with you. They have all spent time in the mountains and know exactly why you want to head to the slopes yourselves. We are continually adding to our portfolio of ski properties and resorts and each time we do we make sure a specialist has been out to experience it first hand.
After graduating from university I decided that my next challenge would be to do a ski season! Having never skied before I set off for Val d'Isère and that is where my passion for the mountains started. I'm not a fair weather skier; I'll ski/board in anything! I've worked extensively in Europe and skied in Australia, NZ, Canada and the States. When people ask about where I like to ski, North America is pretty high on the list! There are so many amazing resorts offering something for everyone.
I was introduced to the slopes by my parents at the age of 6, I wouldn’t say I loved it initially, there were definitely some tears at ski school, however this changed soon after. I decided to do a ski season in Val d'Isère, France in 2005/2006 and was lucky enough to have amazing conditions and discovered my passion for off piste. I began ski instructing in Italy while studying at University which I thoroughly enjoyed. Since then I have skied extensively and have a great love for the fantastic skiing available in North America too.
My love for skiing started at a young age with many a family vacation in Austria and Italy. However after University I decided to briefly postpone life in the real world and opted for a ski season in Val d'Isère where my love for the mountains grew even more. Both in the summer and winter I choose the mountains over any other vacation destination, and although I have been lucky enough to tick off a number of resorts there are still many more left on the bucket list.
I think I have finally taken a turn after more than 20 years of skiing and would no longer classify myself a fair-weather skier! Whilst rosé in the sunshine will always be appealing I love the mountains whatever the weather. I hope because my skiing is improving! I have been fortunate enough to have worked for companies who think it is important to ski the mountains as well as sell the mountains so I have skied lots of European resorts – many off the beaten track that I would not have heard of otherwise. Hopefully my skiing adventures will continue for years to come!
Introduced to skiing through Scott Dunn, what is there not to love?! With some incredible resorts both in Europe and beyond with the likes of Whistler and Jackson Hole, you cannot help but enjoy the fresh air, glistening snow and of course the après-ski! Skiing at Christmas is by far my favorite time of year to hit the slopes, great snow and the villages and resorts never fail to look pretty!
