I was very lucky to grow up in East Africa to parents both in the Safari Industry which meant being out on Safari, camping and exploring from a young age and seeing things others could only dream of. For me, my passion for travel came from dreaming about the faraway dreamy destinations in Europe like Italy and France.

These were the kind of places I would read about in books or see in movies but couldn’t believe were real. My first trip to Europe was when I was 9 years old, on a Family trip to England, Scotland, France and Greece. It was the first time I had really been out of Africa and my dream of seeing these magical places with their old buildings and dramatic landscapes was finally a reality. This curiosity grew into a passion and need for travel in my life and I longed for the day when I would finish school and head off and see the world with a huge backpack and my best friend. I did exactly that and travelled for 6 months around New Zealand, Indonesia, Vietnam and Fiji.
I have since travelled to many amazing corners of Europe such as the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Spain, and Ireland to name a few but I am always drawn to the warm buzz of European cities that I always dreamed of as a child, and the dramatically beautiful Mediterranean Coast that is so different from the tropical waters of East Africa where I grew up.
