I love travel that takes me off the beaten track and shows me places, people and cultures different to those that I can experience at home. I enjoy surrounding myself with new environments and immersing myself in new ways of life. Whilst being not a million miles from home, traveling throughout Europe has certainly allowed me to do this.

Iceland is a spectacular country – a real land of contrasts, crammed with a stunning mix of landscapes created by both fire and ice. It’s the perfect destination to visit if you like to feel inspired by nature. By contrast, I love the countries of Southern Europe, Italy in particular, for its rich history and cultural heritage, and of course its delicious food and fantastic climate!

What my guests have said

Thank you very much for all your help in organising this vacation - I've had an excellent experience with Scott Dunn.

Travel nuggets

  • In Iceland, don't miss the fabulous experience of bathing in the Blue Lagoon and the many other geothermal hot spa pools surrounded by the beautiful Icelandic landscape.

  • If staying in Portofino, on Italy's northern coast, take a boat trip to the hidden village of San Fruttuso. This tiny 1500 year old settlement is built around a beautiful monastery and can only be accessed by boat.

  • Always travel with an open mind, be willing to try new activities, foods and experiences. The more you put in, the more incredible memories you will create and have to keep!

My hot picks

Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo, Taormina, Sicily, Italy

Set back slightly from the coast, in the town of Taormina itself, within its own beautiful gardens, this property really does have it all: A beautiful building, stunning views of Mazzaro Bay, an amazing pool, a fantastic restaurant & shuttle to the beach.

Deplar Farm, Troll Peninsula, Northern Iceland

This luxurious, hidden retreat is the perfect place for an Icelanic adventure. The range of activities offered here are incredible, and with only 13 rooms, you can be sure of excellent personal service.

Tainaron Blue, Mani Peninsula, The Peloponnese, Greece

Housed within a restored 19th century tower, with only three rooms, this hotel is a real hilltop hideaway and offers guests complete seclusion, peace & incredible views.
