“Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times” is the motto that motivates me to spend much of the time on the road.

After spending a month in Europe upon graduation, I fell in in love with this fascinating continent – its rich history, charming little towns tucked away in the mountains, the historic architecture and art pieces…and I absolutely love Spain for their delicious local delicacies!

Travel nuggets

  • For cheese lovers, don’t miss the freshly made burrata cheese in Puglia of Italy, the place of its origin.

  • Beware of the siesta time in Spain. Do your shopping before shops close around 2pm till 5pm, and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle!

  • On Yakushima, an Island in Kagoshima Prefecture of Japan, where rain falls 35 days a month don't forget to pack your raincoat!

My hot picks

Borgo Egnazia, Puglia, Italy

Lovely property with all white bricks buildings. Facing the crystal blue Adriatic sea, who doesn’t like sea side of Italy? I how the hotel lights up in the evening with all romantic candles.

Ceylon Tea Trails, Hatton, Kandy and the Hill Country, Sri Lanka

The 5 British style bungalows are so homey and comfortable overlooking the tea plantations and valley below. Enjoy a tasty British breakfast outside the garden of the bungalow.

Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

The rooms are decorated with a mix of Mexican and Spanish style with wooden floor and beamed ceilings and a stone hearth. Remember to grab a drink at the roof top bar overlooking the whole city along the hill.
