I’ve always had a love for North America. Since I was a child, many happy vacations were spent alligator spotting in the everglades, chasing Mini Mouse for her autograph at Disney World and enjoying hot apple cider after a day’s skiing in the mountains of Massachusetts.

Before university I lived and worked in Vermont for 3 months at a large equestrian complex. I then moved on to work as Cabin Crew for two years during which I traveled extensively throughout the USA.

Travel nuggets

  • Immerse yourself in local culture. The Navajo Spirit Tour in Monument Valley is an incredibly informative experience.

  • Do as many activities as you can. You may only visit some destinations once and you can't buy memories!

  • Try and enjoy the moment and appreciate what you're seeing instead of trying to take the perfect photo - they rarely do it justice!

My hot picks

Amangiri, Lake Powell, The Southwest, United States of America

The hotel is so stealth-like, you wouldn't know it was there. However, when you do find it hidden amongst the rocks, it is truly stunning, stylish & very special.

Sundance Mountain Resort - Summer, Utah, The Southwest, United States of America

It is more of a lifestyle than a resort. Owned by Robert Redford, there is a big emphasis on being creative with jewelry, pottery and soap making classes all on site. The farm-to-fork food is also delicious!
