Growing up in Portugal with family from Scotland, South Africa and Australia, traveling has been a part of my life since I can remember. I love experiencing and learning about new cultures, customs and languages, and very rarely return to the same spot twice. My favorite place to be is outdoors, whether soaking up sunshine while floating in the sea, or hiking up a mountain to enjoy the views.
I embarked on my first solo adventure at the age of 18, when I spent three months exploring India. I followed that with a month of getting my first taste of Southeast Asia, and since that trip my passion for travel has only grown. During my first year of university I saved up enough money to spend two months traveling from Mexico to Panama over the summer break. Three years later, as a fresh graduate, I was offered the opportunity to live and work in Singapore. The role was interesting, but the thing that excited me most was the prospect of being able to explore a whole new part of the world. Since then I have made a good dent in destinations around the region, but the more I travel, the longer my list of places to visit gets.My blogs
