It didn’t take long for New Zealand become one of my favorite destinations. From the people and the food, to the scenery and activities, nothing was a disappointment. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing cruise, a wine tour, some adrenaline pumping fun or awe inspiring views, New Zealand has it all, making it great for both couples and families. I loved exploring the North Island, learning about the culture up in the Bay of Islands, getting stuck into some mountain biking and white water rafting in Rotorua and experiencing a jet boat in Taupo. On the South Island I was completely blown away by the scenery and really loved self-exploring and driving down through the island. Each area has so much to offer and you’ll never be at a loss of things to do!

As soon as I graduated from university, I couldn’t get on the plane to New Zealand quick enough. I had always been enticed by the beautiful scenery, delicious food and wine, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and it’s safe to say, the country didn’t let me down. Highlights for me include hikes through the Abel Tasman National Park, helicopter rides to Milford Sound, and scenic boat trips in the beautiful Bay of Islands. Similarly, Australia offers something for everyone, from the famous Sydney Harbour to the Great Barrier Reef, and the dusty Outback to the extensive wineries in South Australia.

After three years in Australia, the beautiful sights and people still linger in my heart. There are so many reasons to fall in love with this fascinating country - the cultural diversity, coffee culture, relaxing lifestyle, and the variety of landscapes and natural scenery.

I take every opportunity to jump on a plane for adventure. Each journey only furthers my appetite to see more of the world. Working in travel has provided the perfect opportunity to continue this goal and pass on my experiences and passion to others. New Zealand is an absolute highlight for me from some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, endless outdoor adventures, world class cuisine, outstanding wine and the most beautiful lodges. It really ticks every box; I love the summer when you can spend all day outdoors exploring and the winter when snowcapped mountains come alive with activity.

In my opinion it doesn’t get much better than Africa. Over the last few years, it has been a real privilege and treat to have witnessed the massive migration herds and be startled by a pouncing lion in the Serengeti, admiring the Big Five in South Africa as well as soaking up the casual vibe of Cape Town and the Winelands.
