Traveling with my kids these days means trying to make sure everyone's boxes are ticked for our vacations. Luckily we all really enjoy all things nautical and a summer vacation wouldn't be the same for us if it didn't involve jumping off a boat into the sea at some point!
The perfect day on my summer vacation would involve sailng or cruising to a little bay somewhere in the Med for swimming and a simple lunch followed by some kayaking, a snooze or book read followed by sprucing up for an al fresco dinner under the stars overlooking the water. I also love city breaks and living in London makes it so easy to pop to Paris or somewhere else lovely for a weekend. My kids have been lucky enough to travel to five continents but skiing wins their vote every time - Lech or Val d'Isère being our favorites.
What my guests have said
"Fabulous service from Anna Corben, answered every question I had with a multitude of information. Made the whole process so easy. I would recommend Scott Dunn to anyone thanks to Anna."
"Anna, I would just like to say how helpful you were on the phone going through all the different options for our vacation in Greece."
"Anna was great throughout the enquiry and booking process, she was incredibly friendly and helpful."
Favourite places I've been
Take the cable car over Dubrovnik and enjoy a drink as you soak in the incredible views over the old walled city and the sea.
Calamari and fresh fish at Giorgos' restaurant in Plakas overlooking the island of Spinalonga in Crete makes for one of those perfect vacation moments.
If you're after luxury and fabulous food but in a child-friendly environment, look no further than the Anassa in Cyprus. The Baby Go Lightly service will make those first vacations with little ones so much easier!
A cocktail in the bar at the Standard hotel on New York's Highline with breaktaking views of the city is an experience not to miss when visiting the Big Apple.
Hus Number 8 is Lech really is the eighth house to have been built in the village! This is the place to come for fondue and of course, a medicinal schnapps afterwards, in the cosiest and traditional pine-clad setting.
