Anna Chaplin

Singapore Office

For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to travel and see the world. I love adventure, it was probably instilled in me from a young age by my parents, who would always whisk my brothers and I away on action packed trips across the States and later around Europe. Since then I've been very lucky to go on and travel many parts of Asia, Australia, the Caribbean and the Maldives.

When I visit somewhere I will always look to seek out any adventure it has to offer, big or small. I love to explore and learn about the local culture and try as much of the local cuisine as humanly possible to really get to know a place. As a fan of the sea, I am also naturally drawn to the beach, tropical islands and any watersport that is thrown my way.

Travel nuggets

  • Make sure you take an underwater camera for any diving or snorkeling trips - this is a must!

  • If you ever go to COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives, sign onto their sunset fishing trip and enjoy your catch the very next day for lunch - such a special experience!

  • Treat yourself to a helicopter wine tour if you're ever in Margaret River - there really is no better way to see the region and get around in true style!

  • Get adventurous and try something new - whether it's some local cuisine, a hike into the jungle, kayaking in mangroves or a cycle through rice paddies!

  • For a truly exhilirating and unique ski adventure, head to Niseko, Japan and treat yourself to a guided tour of the backcountry - there is no better way to explore the area and experience some of the best powder in the world!

My hot picks

Amilla Fushi, Baa Atoll, Maldives

I love the style and laid back feel of this resort. Amilla Fushi translates to 'Your Island Home' and it definitely feels like home very quickly!

Ki Niseko, Niseko, Japan

With direct access to the main slopes, you can't get a better location in Niseko. This is the perfect hotel to stay in for any ski enthusiast looking to get the first lift up for the day!

Huvafen Fushi, North Male Atoll, Maldives

As soon as you step off the boat onto the island you feel instantly relaxed. From the warm smiles of the staff, to the delicious food at Salt, Huvafen really gets under your skin and leaves you feeling truly rejuvenated.

The Datai, Langkawi, Malaysia

This is an absolutely stunning property, set within a beautiful, ancient rainforest. The hotel overlooks one of the best beaches I have been to and is a great destination for nature lovers.
