The Role:

You’re passionate and well-traveled, with strong knowledge of the US luxury travel industry and have been succeeding in your current Product / Sales role for several years? You’re now looking to bring your extensive experience into an exciting new position with one of the industry’s most highly regarded brands?

Scott Dunn USA are looking for a forward-thinking and commercially minded professional to be based in their offices in Solana Beach, California, working within a fast-paced global Product team as the US market lead.

The right candidate will seek out opportunities for growth, be highly organized with a drive for process and efficiency, and a strong team player. The role will require excellent communication skills as you will be supporting the US-based team of Travel Experts, whilst working alongside teams in Scott Dunn’s London office. A substantial part of the role will involve managing relationships with our portfolio of suppliers, negotiating and problem solving, as well as proposing effective buying strategies, sourcing and contracting well-suited suppliers for the US market.


We are looking for a collaborative individual with the ability to successfully work as part of a local and a global team, balancing the best interests of both sides and driving solutions and continuous improvement with a positive attitude. Relationship building, both internally within the business globally and externally with suppliers, will be key to the success of this role.

You’ll have your finger on the US travel trends pulse and pay close attention to competitor activity and guest demand, using this expertise to identify commercial opportunities and drive creative and differentiated product ideas. You will take ownership for the development and growth of specific geographical regions whilst supporting Travel Experts with day to day questions, producing sales tools and overcoming any conversion barriers. This is an interesting and varied role for a driven candidate looking to make this new opportunity their own, requiring the ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and prioritize effectively.

We work in the travel industry so there will certainly be opportunities for international travel as part of the role, and the successful candidate will be required to travel typically every 2 months to an overseas office and/or on familiarization (work) trips.
