Located just 20 minutes inland from the picturesque Galle Fort, Kahanda Kanda is a stunning base from which to explore the south coast of Sri Lanka. With individual and beautifully designed rooms, this very stylish hotel is set amidst a small tea plantation. The service is incredibly personal and the staff are some of the friendliest we encountered on our recent trip. The menu is varied and delicious and includes some Sri Lankan specialities.

Jordan is a small country offering a mixture of culture, adventure and relaxation from the legendary Petra to lesser-known but no less fascinating sites such as the Roman ruins of Jerash.
