This role is villa based each week of the season; in addition the role has some managerial duties, to liase and be the first point of contact to the UK office.

Audit and manage the standards in all villas in the resort and manage the teams. The villa teams will manage the guest and be responsible for their airport transfer and holiday bookings, in the event of a crisis or at guest request visits are to be made.

The Position

From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “Nothing is too much trouble”. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of “Scott Dunn” service
  • Liase closely with London team to ensure complete communication of information
  • Complete, accurately and efficiently, all paperwork and administrative duties as and when necessary to ensure effective running of the resort
  • Keep regular contact with all Villa hosts to ensure the smooth running of the resort
  • When necessary visit guests to solve any guest problems, day-to-day the villa host manages the guests
  • Ensure that relevant members of the team carry out all resort operations according to Scott Dunn standards as quickly and efficiently as possible
  • To manage the mobile telephone and resort cars and be responsible for any administration
  • Responsible for the delivery of the villa welcome speech and providing guest information
  • To liaise with London office with all guest requirements and compile GPS information
  • To manage the day to day finances in the chalet with the chef and process information given by the London office
  • To make reservations for chefs and hosts day off at a local recommended restaurant
  • To make reservations for guests for activities and attractions and keep the information folder up to date with local information and attractions
  • To be the first point of contact for the villa owner regarding all aspects of the property
  • To maintain villa breakage and inventory information
  • To manage all aspects of the property i.e air conditioning, shade by the pool, access to the property
  • To assist in preparing breakfast, lunch, canapés and a four course evening dinner
  • To serve and clear breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Ensure that tables are suitably laid at breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Ensure that the villa is always clean and tidy. This includes making beds, hoovering, cleaning bathrooms, sitting rooms, dining area and kitchen
  • Clear rubbish from the villa daily
  • Purchase and manage all villa beverage stock such as wine, beer and mixers daily

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluency in French, Spanish or Portuguese
  • Accounting skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Computer literate

Job specification

Independent, well motivated with attention to detail. Able to prioritise and act accordingly Enthusiasm, liveliness and friendliness are key attributes to this job. Working in stunning villas in glorious locations. Previous experience is essential.
