The Grand Tour 2006
Scott Dunn is proud to support the event, now in its 22nd year, The Grand Tour has built up a reputation as an exclusive rolling party through France to Monte Carlo. The journey takes in ever changing countryside: long, straight rural stretches, forest roads and seemingly never ending mountain passes. Most of it off the beaten track and all specially selected to entertain both driver and car.
- DAY ONE: Chelsea to Dover and over to Boulogne, then a short run in Picardy to Ile de France and the village of Gressy.
- DAY TWO: Through Champagne to Burgundy and Gilly in the heart of the Côte d’Or.
- DAY THREE: Into Burgundy and Beaujolais to old Lyon.
- DAY FOUR: Over the Alps to Provence.
- DAY FIVE: A brief Riviera run to the finishing line in Monte Carlo.
The energetic days contrast with the relaxing evenings. At the end of each day, ancient Châteaux, chosen for their hospitality, gastronomy and cellars await and the whole event culminates with a magnificent party in Monaco.
