Cutting edge: top-of-the-range chalets
One of the luxuries of the Eagles Nest in Val d’Isère is space: the chalet’s 650 square metres forms seven bedrooms over three floors and a top floor living space with spectacular views over the resort. Besides the sumptuous furnishings, evening champagne, canapés and five-course meals, there are the indoor swimming pool and steam room and, for the more adventurous, La Face, the resort’s downhill race course which is just 100 metres away (or you can simply watch everyone else tumble their way down its steep bumps).
