Zermatt
Zermatt, dominated by the unmistakable Matterhorn, remains a timeless legend. It is a beautiful resort with a skyline peppered by 38 peaks over 4000 metres. Offering the highest skiing in Europe at 3800 metres, Zermatt incorporates three major ski areas Sunnegga, Gornergrat and Klein Matterhorn. From Klein Matterhorn glacier you can even ski down into Cervinia in Italy for lunch.
Each ski area provides varied terrain from moguls to motorways. And, if the exquisite mountain restaurants are not enough, there are 17 Michelin stars in the village of Zermatt.
