Logistics Manager
The role brings responsibility and reward as the overall smooth running of the resort depends to a huge extent on the Logistics Manager. It involves managing the MBO team, the driver service, stock deliveries and control and overseeing the maintenance of properties and vehicles. The successful applicant will need to have a thorough understanding of guest service combined with people management skills, excellent organisation, technical know-how and a practical approach.
The Position
From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “Nothing is too much trouble”. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:- Ensure that the resort logistics support all aspects of the resort so that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of “Scott Dunn” service
- Effectively manage and oversee your resort team, leading by example and holding regular weekly meetings
- Deliver a driver service that is efficient, smooth and professional
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all properties and keep them in good order throughout the season
- Ensure all vehicles and equipment are managed and looked after with the utmost care
- Conduct deliveries, transport and storage in such a way that the reputation of SD in resort is upheld and enhanced
- Control and deliver stock and laundry so that chalets are fully supplied and stock is looked after properly
- Co-ordinate and manage the transfer of guests to and from the airport
- Liaise closely with UK offices to ensure complete communication of information
- Work as part of a small and focused in-resort management team
- Complete, accurately and efficiently, all paperwork and administrative duties as and when necessary to ensure effective running of the resort
- Ensure that relevant members of the team carry out all resort operations according to Scott Dunn standards as quickly and efficiently as possible
- Effectively troubleshoot unforeseen events and circumstances whether related to guests, staff, properties or logistical arrangements
- Take responsibility for all Scott Dunn monies

Essential Qualifications/ requirements
- Previous organisational experience
- Previous experience of winter seasons
- Technical know-how and practical skills
- Full driving licence
- Computer literacy preferable
- Fluency in French or German preferable
