Chef Hosts
In addition to Chefs and Hosts, we have opportunities for people who can combine competent cooking skills with a great approach to service.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of one of our smaller properties (sleeping max six guests) in top European ski resorts and will appeal to a strong independent all rounder who has a passion for food and personal service and enjoys running their own property.
The Position
From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “Nothing is too much trouble”. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:- Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of “Scott Dunn” service
- To do all the shopping for food and domestic stuffs for your chalet
- To do all menu design and planning, budgeting in your chalet, and providing weekly reports
- Provide full breakfast, afternoon tea, children’s tea and canapés and four course evening meal
- Lay the table, serve and clear breakfast and evening courses
- Keeping your chalet clean and tidy at all times
- Creating a warm, friendly environment
- Be responsible for reporting overall basic maintenance within the chalet
Abilities and expectations
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills
- Good self motivation
- Organised, highly flexible and pro-active

Essential Qualifications
- Recognised catering qualification or extensive experience
- Minimum of 1 year working experience with a qualification or 2 years without a qualification
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience (essential)
