Responsible Tourism - Scott Dunn Charitable Fund
Scott Dunn Charitable Fund. For this reason Scott Dunn has set up a charitable fund which gives us the ability to support a variety of community-based projects in the areas that our guests visit. They are the projects that promote education, community development and conservation to bring real long-term improvements to the lives of many poverty in stricken and remote areas.
The first charities we have chosen are Tusk Trust, TOFT and Rainforest Concern.
Tusk Trust is a dynamic UK based charity with over 17 year’s experience of conserving wildlife across Africa. TOFT, Travel Operators for Tigers, is a campaign initiative aimed at encouraging sustainable tourism in tiger reserves and national parks across India. Rainforest Concern started in 1993, to protect the world’s tropical rainforests and the indigenous communities they contain.
Scott Dunn is making a substantial donation this year of some £25,000 to these and other selected charities.
