Resort Manager

This is a challenging and intensive yet very rewarding role! We are looking for dedicated and highly motivated individuals to run the winter resort programme, using and further developing their management experience. This position holds total responsibility within the resort and is very diverse in its portfolio of associated duties. These include everything from guest relations to vehicle maintenance checks and from human resource management to resort stock control. It is a non-stop role that requires total involvement and pro-activity thus getting the very best out of the mountains.

The Position

From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby “Nothing is too much trouble”. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all our guests benefit from the highest possible level of “Scott Dunn” service.

  • Co-ordinate, manage and conduct the transfer of guests to and from the airport.

  • Effectively manage and oversee your resort team, leading by example and holding regular weekly meetings.

  • Maintain and develop good relations within (or without) resort with all existing or new suppliers and contractors.

  • Liaise closely with London team to ensure complete communication of information.

  • Work as part of a small and focused in-resort management team.

  • Complete, accurately and efficiently, all paperwork and administrative duties as and when necessary to ensure effective running of the office.

  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with guests each week, keeping them well informed of all events and updated on any relevant information, carrying out any requests and helping to make their stay their best holiday experience ever.

  • Ensure that relevant members of the team carry out all resort operations according to Scott Dunn standards as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • Take responsibility for all Scott Dunn monies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Fluency in French or German.

  • Accounting skills.

  • Previous management experience.

  • Previous hospitality experience.

  • Full, clean driving license.

  • Computer literate.
