Begin with San Francisco, where we suggest three nights at the boutique Hotel Vitale, located on the waterfront by the Ferry Building with its daily craft market. San Francisco is a great city to walk around, so explore San Francisco’s famous and infamous neighbourhoods, from Mission District and Haight-Ashbury to Nob Hill and Chinatown, or take a ferry across the Bay to Sausalito with its picturesque marina and great restaurants – just a little further on are Muir Woods, where you can feel tiny among the huge giant redwood trees. There’s also time if you wish to go out to the Napa or Sonoma Valleys and get to know some of California’s finest food and wines.
Next fly to Honolulu for three nights on Waikiki Beach, staying at the incredibly stylish boutique hotel Halekulani. Waikiki is all about the action, be it by day looking to catch a perfect set of waves or by night in a cocktail bar or club. If this is too much, then just relax on the beach or catch some sun by the pool.
Hop over to Maui next for five nights of total away-from-it-all relaxation, staying at ultra-relaxing Hana Maui, situated on Maui’s North Shore. Offering a slice of old Hawaii at its best, Hana Maui is a beautiful and romantic place to kick back and enjoy Hawaii’s natural beauty. Activities include snorkelling, throw net fishing, learning to play the ukulele, and some fantastic coastal walks. Finally fly back to Las Vegas to end your holiday in style staying at the uber-glamorous Encore at Wynn, a true temple to luxury on Las Vegas’ famed Strip. Play the casinos, relax by the pool and take a trip out into the desert or Grand Canyon for an experience you will remember forever.

When to travel
Honolulu is a year round destination with a tropical climate, with the very best months being April to September. Temperatures are high throughout the year but never excessive, as humidity levels are manageable. There is a rainy season from December to March which is also ironically, the tourism high season, when the scenery is at its most lush and long, hot days break up the rainy spells.

Located on Mission Street on the Embarcadero Waterfront in the Financial District of San Francisco. Hotel Vitale is directly across from the historic Ferry Building Marketplace, San Francisco's gourmet destination. Next fly to Honolulu for three nights at the Halekulani Hotel, which sits in Kalia Road, in the middle of a metropolis on the beach at Waikiki. Then pop over to Hana Maui, set among a wonderland of rainforest, moss and bright orange lilima blossom, in the shadow of the huge volcano Haleakala. You final destination is Encore at Wynn, located on Las Vegas Boulevard and Sands Avenue (on the N.E. corner), directly across The Strip from the Fashion Show Mall.
