Tea, the beach and the blue lagoon is recommended for

Description

Step back in time to Sri Lanka’s colonial era at Ceylon Tea Trails where you’ll wake up to a cup of the country’s local export. These exquisite tea managers bungalows have been lovelingly restored and are set in the most beautiful surroundings. With the use of the facilities at any of the bungalows you can play tennis, take a dip in the pool, play croquet and of course talk walks through the magical tea plantations.

A visit to the two Aman Resorts on the south coast will show you Sri Lanka’s other gems. Amanwella on the palm-lined coast is the perfect place to relax and unwind with arguably one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. After lazy days on the beach, head next to Amangalla, a unique city hotel set within the walls of the historic Galle fort. Perfect for cocktails on the terrace and exploring the fort itself with some beautiful shopping. Outside the fort, the local villages and paddy fields of the South are well worth a visit before returning to your hotel for a sumptuous spa treatment in it's award winning spa.

Next, to the Maldives. If paradise exists, it surely looks like Huvafen Fushi, set within its own blue lagoon. Walk down a wooden pontoon to your luxurious thatched bungalow. Kick your shoes off, take a dip in your private plunge pool overlooking the sea, sunbathe on your deck. Visit the underwater spa, fish swimming past the glass, before dining in al fresco candlelight after sundown.
