Description

This adventure hops across 3 islands, exposing their amazing wildlife, colourful underwater worlds and sumptuous beaches along the way.

Described as one of the most beautiful islands in the world, Desroches is hemmed with endless beaches protected by a coral reef. With 5 nights here, you can make the most it, snorkeling, diving and fishing off shore; and exploring inland on foot or bicycle. Your children will love this natural adventure playground too, where giant tortoises roam wild and hermit crabs scuttle along the beach. Praslin island is next, for 4 nights at Lemuria, set on the beach of Anse Kerlan. There’s the great little Turtle children’s club here, named after the turtles that breed across the island. Relax by the pool, enjoy golf on the Seychelles’ only course, or take a pedalo out on the water. Your final 4 nights are spent lapping up classic Four Seasons luxury on the main island of Mahé. Each beautiful stilted villa has its own pool – and if you can bear to leave it, there’s the jungle to explore, and boat trips to deserted beaches.

Itinerary

When to travel

Situated just south of the equator, the Seychelles have a warm tropical climate. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles a good year round destination.

There is little fluctuation in warmth, with temperatures ranging from 24C to 31C all year round. From May to October a southeast trade wind can bring marginally cooler weather and fresh breezes. From November to March the northwest monsoon wind blows, typically raising temperature and humidity. December and January are the wettest months, but the rain falls in short sharp bursts before the sun comes out again.
