Description

Having flown into Nairobi overnight you connect straight onward to the Maasai Mara. This vast game reserve is justly famous for its sweeping and incredibly game-rich plains.

Here you stay at Acacia House, one of three private houses which are ideal for a family holiday. Each house comes with its own staff, including chef, private driver/guide and vehicle. Two of the houses share a swimming pool, giving children somewhere to let off steam and parents a place to relax between game drives. Nomadic Encounter Homes are located to the north of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and your stay here includes park fees, three meals a day and drinks.

You then fly directly to Diani, on the Kenyan Coast where you will be met and transferred to your private villa, part of the Alfarjiri collection. Your villa will be fully-staffed and comes with its own private pool. Your stay also includes a personal butler, all food and drinks, 24 hour nannies, snorkelling and golf equipment and wifi. Activities also included are boat trips to snorkelling sites, massages, chauffeur transport within the Diani Beach area, visits to community projects and villages, as well as use of sauna and steam bath in a near by property. Everything can be tailored to your requirements and most dietary needs can be catered for if we are advised of these in advance.

Please see our itinerary below. It is a suggested itinerary and can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

When to travel

Kenya is a dry country, with regional variations in temperature and rainfall. On the coast, the weather is tropical with high humidity in April and May, and occasional monsoon winds. Inland (including the Central Highlands and Rift Valley) the climate is temperate. The long rains fall from March to May and the short rains fall from late October to December. The best time to visit is usually July to February, and the wildebeest migration usually occurs from mid-July to September.
