Luxury Patagonian Adventure - Chile & Argentina is recommended for
Riding3Honeymoon2Adventure2City2

Description

The journey begins in the wonderful city of Buenos Aires, where you will begin your journey in style staying 3 nights at the magnificent Faena Hotel & Universe.

No visit to Patagonia is complete without staying on an estancia, and we have selected the superb Tipiliuke Lodge as a base for the next 3 nights. Apart from the sensational landscapes and superb food and hospitality in an authentic historic setting, you can go riding, hit the trail, fish trout from sparkling rivers, and even visit one of the world’s southernmost vineyards.

Fly down to El Calafate next to stay at wonderful Eolo, a wonderful lodge in the heart of untamed wilderness, where you are sure to see condors wheeling above. It is also close to the magnificent Perito Moreno glacier. Hear the deafening roar as large chunks of ice spectacularly break off before floating away as vivid blue icebergs in the lake below - a sight not to be missed.

Continue to Torres del Paine, a national park of unparalleled natural beauty, with dramatic glaciers, emerald green lakes and spectacular granite peaks. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife including guanacos, silver foxes, flamingos and condors. The exclusive Explora Salto Chico, one of Chile’s finest hotels, has stunning views and offers fantastic adventure sport opportunities including sailing, hiking, horse riding, kayaking and rafting.

Finish with 2 nights in Santiago, Chile’s cosmopolitan capital, staying at the top boutique hotel in town The Aubrey. There are plenty of great restaurants, and the famed Chilean vineyards are right on your doorstep, and make a great excursion.

Please see our Original Itinerary below. It is a suggested itinerary and can be tailored to suit your individual needs.

Itinerary

When to travel

Visiting Patagonia is best done in the southern summer, from October to March, although travelling here in April and May can be very rewarding as the weather is often clear and still, and the tree colours match New England in the Fall. Buenos Aires is a year round destination.
